All Ahmedabad-Mumbai flights delayed

Ahmedabad: The flight schedule of all airlines in the city was delayed due to the bad weather condition in Mumbai. This is the second consecutive day that flights are being delayed. In fact those in the know how of the situation say that with the winter setting in, the weather condition will not see much improvement leading to more such delays.
"Almost all the nine flights from Mumbai to Ahmedabad and vice-versa have been delayed by 30 minutes to 2 hours on Wednesday. Flights of GoAir, Jet Airways and Kingfisher were affected because of the bad weather conditions in Mumbai," said an airport official.He said that passengers will have no other option but to put up with the delay.
On Wednesday hundreds of passengers along with their relatives were left stranded because of the delays.However, airport officials said that the situation will worsen in the coming days as winters turn foggy.
The official said the fog in Delhi will further play havoc with flight timings. "I was going to Mumbai by the Kingfisher flight which usually departs at 10 pm. I came to the airport two hours before the flight time but then I came to know that the flight will take off only at 12:30," said Romesh Chakraborty, an HR professional from Mumbai who had come to the city for a seminar.
