DYFI activists attack Air India office

Kozhikode: Activists of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) allegedly attacked the Air India office today, protesting against disruption of Air India Express flights from here.The pro-CPI(M) youth wing workers barged into the airline office at Mavoor Road here at around 1110 hours and smashed window-panes before entering into an altercation with the staff for causing "inconvenience" to passengers due to disruption of flights to the busy Gulf sector, police said.
At least six Air India Express flights from Karipur airport here were cancelled and over a dozen flights were delayed indefinitely yesterday.
