Hundreds of Ahmedabad fliers hit

Ahmedabad: Hundreds of passengers were stranded at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on Saturday because of the delay to flights caused by the thick fog over Delhi.
Both departures and arrivals from the North of the country were affected. There was chaos at the airport in the evening on Saturday.
Travellers’ bags were lying everywhere, right from the international terminal to the domestic lounge. The passengers themselves were loitering in the terminals or outside on the road.
Airport sources said that because of zero visibility in Delhi, almost all the flights comingto Ahmedabad fromthe national capital had got delayed.
