SpiceJet passenger faints due to suffocation, flight makes emegency landing

Ahmedabad: Budget airlines SpiceJet on Tuesday made an emergency landing after one of its passengers fainted mid-air due to suffocation as the air conditioning system failed, according to a report on CNN-IBN.
The channel says it was a nightmare for passengers of the Goa-Ahmedabad Spicejet flight on Sunday.
First, the flight took off almost half an hour late at 5.30 pm and then the passengers realised that the air conditioning (AC) system was not working.
Passengers started complaining of suffocation. One of the women passengers fell unconscious. The Ahmedabad-bound flight was then diverted to Mumbai where it made an emergency landing.
Angry passengers have now demanded a compensation for the harrowing time they faced in the aircraft.
