Close shave for Jet flights

Chennai: Two Jet Airways flights avoided a mid-air collision on Saturday near Indore when they came almost within six nautical miles of each other at a height of 5,000 feet.
Jet Airways flight 9W 2228 that was heading from Delhi to Indore and flight 9W 2509 from Indore to Bhopal on Saturday noon came almost within colliding distance when the aircraft TCAS (Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System) let out a Resolution Advisory (RA) alerting them of the danger.
