Mumbai: Naresh Goyal owned private air-carrier, Jet Airways, plans to enhance the frequency of its flights to the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo, over the next six months, a Jet Airwyas official said. The airline presently operates one daily flight between Chennai and Colombo.
"We plan to launch a few more services to Colombo from Indian cities over the next six-months," a Jet Airways official told PTI here.
Besides, Mumbai and Delhi, the airline is also exploring a few other destinations to launch these services, the official said.
There is a huge potential on the sector, which needs to be tapped, the official said, adding," the airline expects a good passenger demand once these services are commenced." Jet Airways is also expected to fly to South Africa shortly, the official said.
