AAI withdraws results of 68 ATCs; issues fresh list

New Delhi: Despite facing acute shortage of Air Traffic Controllers (ATCs) at the country's airports, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has withdrawn the results of 33 candidates after declaring them successful without citing any reason.
Applications for 68 posts of Manager (ATC) were advertised in December 2007 and written tests held in November 2008. The results of 68 successful candidates were declared after over an year in December 2009 and displayed on the AAI website.
But surprisingly, the names of 33 candidates were withdrawn in February this year without citing any reason and the final list showed only 35 successful candidates.
