Aryan Cargo set to take wings

Hyderabad: Aryan Cargo Express Ltd., a scheduled cargo airline operator, said it is investing Rs 100 crore to kickstart operations.
The company, which recently received approval from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, also said it will start operations next month.
“We are investing Rs 100 crore, of which Rs 25 crore is invested by the promoters while the remaining is borrowed from the State Bank of India, to start operations. We have inducted two aircraft -- Air Bus 310 -- with a capacity to carry 6.5 million tonnes of cargo each,” Capt Mukut Pathak, Chairman & Managing Director, Aryan Cargo told Express.
He added that the company had taken these two aircrafts from national carrier Air India on dry lease. Similarly, Aryan said it will also induct two more aircraft to its growing fleet over the next three to four months. Each of these aircraft will have a capacity to carry 90 million tonnes of cargo.
Aryan will operate services from Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai to begin with and subsequently expand to other locations.
