It's a flying hat-trick, Poorna!

Mumbai: Even as investigations are on to find out whether Air India was used by aviation minister Praful Patel's daughter Poorna, a hospitality manager with IPL, a fresh case has come under the scanner. Aviation sources say that the airline has violated the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) guidelines again.
There are allegations that Poorna Patel has misused the carrier for IPL players. This is the third time in the last three days that an Air India aircraft was diverted for the sake of the players. Earlier, Praful Patel sent a "No" text message in reply to a query on whether his daughter was behind the diversion of the said AI flights.
Flight IC 863 Chandigarh-Delhi-Mumbai on April 10 made a landing at Jaipur to drop the players and staffers of the Mumbai Indians team, reportedly as per Poorna Patel's instructions.
According to sources in aviation, no prior information was sent to the Jaipur ATC about the flight's arrival -- a violation of the DGCA guidelines.
According to Air India sources, the airline has issued a gag order to stop AI employees from leaking any official information to the media. If employees are found violating the order, the company has maintained that strict action will be taken against them.
