A Turkish passenger plane en route to Istanbul from Bangkok made emergency landing at India's Mumbai Airport due to technical failure, according to an official report here on Thursday.
The semi-official Anatolia news agency reported that the Turkish Airlines (THY) Airbus 340 had to land shortly after take- off because of a technical failure on Wednesday.
Some of the passengers came to Istanbul on Wednesday through Mumbai-Istanbul flight and the other will be brought to Istanbul on Thursday during Mumbai-Istanbul flight.
