Air India engineers for truce between management, de-recognised unions

Mumbai: Air India Aircraft Engineers Association (AIAEA) today asked airline's management and leaders of the two de-recognised unions to sort out their differences amicably.
"It is about time they (the management and the leaders) sit across and resolve their issues amicably in the interest of the airline," AIAEA general secretary, Rajiv Narula, told PTI here.
AIAEA is one of the nine recognised trade unions in the National Aviation Company of India Limited (NACIL), the holding company formed after the merger of Air India and erstwhile Indian Airlines into one single entity.
However, with the integration process of the two air-carriers still in progress, both continue to be represented by different sets of unions.
