Bangla intruder held at Sanganer airport

Jaipur: A 28-year-old Bangladesh national, who intruded into the Sanganer International Airport, has been arrested by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawans on Monday evening. The man has been identified as Mohammad Yaseen.
According to sources, Yaseen climbed the international terminal wall metres away from the exit gate of cargo department. As soon as he landed at the airport, he was spotted by the CISF patrolling unit. After his arrest, the jawans informed senior officials who rushed to the spot. Yaseen was taken to the CISF office for preliminary investigation.
“No suspicious article has been recovered from him, except Rs 18,” said a CISF official. Later, Yaseen was handed over to Sanganer police.
During interrogation, Yaseen said his father fled from Bangladesh to India during 1971 war. But he claimed that he was born and brought up in Murshidabad (West Bengal) and Jaipur.
This incident has raised serious questions on the security at the airport. The CISF officials, who are responsible for the airport security has passed the buck on the state government. They claimed that security outside the road comes under the purview of the state security agencies.
