Mumbai: On Saturday, an Air India aircraft resembled a state transport bus.
The airline had allegedly allotted one particular seat to three passengers and another seat to two passengers on its morning flight from Mumbai to Dubai, leading to chaos and minor scuffle among claimants.
Iqbal Patel was allotted seat No 43-A in AI flight No 717. As he approached it, he saw two passengers arguing over the same seat.
Soon, an air hostess reached to sort out the issues, but could not do anything as none of the passengers was willing to give up. Finally, after half an hour, a flight attendant arranged for seats. Sources said even after allotment of separate seats, passengers were seen fighting for their choice of seats.
