Hoax call delays IndiGo flight

New Delhi: A phone call on Thursday morning claiming there was a bomb in an IndiGo aircraft, scheduled to fly to Srinagar via Jammu, sent the Indira Gandhi International Airport officials into a tizzy. The phone call turned out to be a hoax but the flight had already been delayed by three hours.
Just when the 180 passengers of the Srinagar bound flight (6E 552) had boarded the aircraft at 10.55 a.m., the Gurgaon based call centre of IndiGo airlines received a call that a bomb had been placed inside the plane.
