Male: Privatisation Committee on Thursday signaled that the government may not award 6,000 tourist beds to India’s GMR Group as part of the Haa Dhaal atoll Hanimadhoo airport deal.
In a press conference at the President’s Office Mahmood Razee, committee Chair and Civil Aviation Minister, told journalists that GMR’s tourism development proposal was pending a concessions agreement. Responding to Haveeru, he said that the government considered awarding the beds to several parties.
“I do not expect that a single party will be developing all the beds that you have mentioned,” he said
