Chandigarh: While Punjab and Haryana are contributing equally for the upcoming international airport in Mohali, the logo designed by the joint venture company (JVC) carries the Open Hand and the arrow from the logo of the Airport Authority of India (AAI).The JVC, Chandigarh International Airport Limited, was formed to operate and maintain the airport. The Open Hand in the round logo symbolises Chandigarh and the arrow moving upwards stands for a flight taking off, a company official said.But recently, the AAI made a change in its logo. Now, the arrow has a downwards trajectory, which stands for the landing of a flight.
