Gold and memory cards seized at Chennai airport

Chennai: Two young Sri Lankans were arrested at the international airport here on Saturday for attempting to smuggle 1.2 kg of gold. On Saturday morning, a flight landed at the Chennai airport from Colombo.
The customs officials who frisked other passengers from the same flight also seized memory cards worth Rs 40 lakhs.
