A luggage nightmare

A woman had a painful experience with an airline on June 11. First, her baggage went missing. Then, the airline, which promised to find it in 24 hours, got back to her only after 20 days, not with the baggage but with a paltry compensation of Rs 3,000.
Manju Dutta, an executive secretary with SAP Labs, and her colleague Rana Chakraborthy returned to Bangalore from Lucknow on an Indigo Airlines flight June 11. On arrival, she found her baggage missing. “I don’t want the money, but the bag contained gifts I had bought for my daughter. It’s of sentimental value,” she said.
