Chennai: Paramount Airways got a lease of life from the Madras High Court on Monday, which gave an interim order allowing the regional carrier to operate its flights.
While a commercial airline is supposed to operate a minimum of five aircraft, Paramount has been operating only one for the past few months and this is one of the main reasons why its licence got suspended last week.
However, the airline moved a writ petition on Monday before the Madras High Court stating that it is in talks with a supplier to procure four aircraft.
