Air India to set up Consumer Advisory Forums

Bangalore: National carrier Air India (AI) will form Consumer Advisory Forums to provide a platform for structured interaction with its prime customers.
The Forums, which will be an upgrade of the existing feedback mechanism, will proactively seek customer involvement and also act as a think tank for generating ideas to improve Air India's product and services, besides the volume of business, according to a release here today.
The Forums would operate at three levels-- Apex Level Forum, headed by Air India Chairman and Managing Director Arvind Jadhav covering entire Air India, Regional Level Forum to cover all regions and Station, Country Level Forum to cover all domestic and international stations. The Forum would commission customer satisfaction surveys and undertake analysis of complaints.
