Ahmedabad: Overseas flight operations continued from the domestic terminal at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport (SVPA) here for the second consecutive day today as the airport administration failed to restore normalcy at the international terminal after heavy rains.
Following heavy downpour yesterday, all international flight operations had to be shifted to the domestic terminal due to severe water-logging at the international terminal.
"We are trying to restore normalcy at the terminal. Electricity has been restored, but unless essential systems dry up we cannot begin routine operations from there," director airport Anuj Aggarwal said.
