Bangalore: Based on the survey conducted by IQPC (International Quality and Productivity Center), India’s airport and aviation security experts said they want to learn from successful international case studies on security in international airports in order to implement global best practice. The survey was conducted to aid the launch of Airport and Aviation Security India 2010, part of IQPC’s global series of aviation security events. The two day conference supported and endorsed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) will take place on 14 and 15 September at The LaLit in New Delhi.
Industry stakeholders will converge in New Delhi in four weeks time to assess the security environment and develop pro-active strategies to safeguard India’s airport and aviation industry. In high attendance, will be members from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Airport Authority of India (AAI), International Federation of Airline Pilots’ Associations (IFALPA), Air India, Jet Airways, Fraport India and senior security experts from international and domestic airports. Topics in focus include integration of physical security and technology.
