Bengaluru International Airport adjudged ‘The Best Managed Airport’ in India

Bengaluru International Airport brought home a prestigious award last week. It has been acknowledged with the CNBC AWAAZ Travel Awards 2010 under the category of ‘Best Managed Airport’ in the country.
Bengaluru International Airport Ltd (BIAL) has bagged a travel award under the ‘best-managed airport’ category after a study was conducted by leading research firm The Neilsen Company. The awards ceremony was held on Wednesday in New Delhi. The award, organized by a private TV channel, recognized the best in class organizations, destinations, infrastructure and service providers. BIAL president Marcel Hungerbuehler said this award is special because it is part of the larger travel and tourism fraternity and comes from votes received by airport users.
Bengaluru International Airport was declared the winner post an objective, robust and comprehensive study conducted by India’s leading research firm, The Neilson Company.
