Pilot accused of molesting air hostess

Gurgaon: A 22-year-old SpiceJet air hostess was allegedly molested by a senior pilot in the cockpit of a Delhi-bound flight. The incident took place on Saturday soon after the flight took off from Kolkata, said an airline official.
An airline insider said the pilot called the air hostess into the cockpit and allegedly molested her. Shocked at the pilot's misbehaviour, the air hostess ran out of the cockpit and informed a senior crew member.
A detailed report about the incident has been submitted to the airline Gurgaon office, but the air hostess has not filed any criminal complaint.
The pilot was immediately taken off from flying duties and a senior airline executive, who confirmed the incident, said strict action would be taken against the erring pilot.
