Mumbai: The travel agents in the city have requested the Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) for a tour of the airport premises, saying it would help them guide new passengers in a better manner.
“Many travel agents do not themselves use the new terminal building but send lots of passengers every day. A first-hand knowledge of the facilities goes a long way in guiding our customers, thereby ensuring a smooth journey for our customer,” said Rajesh Rateria, chairperson of western region chapter of Travel Agents Association of India, in his letter to MIAL.
Rateria said some agents in Zurich were given a guided tour of the airports there; similarly agents in Delhi had toured the new terminal there, which helped them guide their passengers better.
