Thiruvananthapuram: In order to help Air India Express regain its lost glory, the Travel Agents Federation of India, Kerala Chapter, on Saturday submitted a report to the authorities.
The report consists of the federation’s suggestions, foreseeing the tremendous potential for low-cost airlines.
According to the report, the major requirement is the improvement of in-flight services. “It is suggested to provide tea or coffee with hot snacks as the duration of journey in most of the schedules is more than 4 hours,” the report said.
As 70 percent of the guests are from the Kerala region, it is advisable to appoint air hostesses or air stewards with multilingual skills, who can handle Malayalam also.
“To meet emergency situations, a standby aircraft and crew shall be made available at the airport. If there is any flight cancellation or delay, the passengers should be informed of it. ...” the report said.
