Air-India flight hit by bird when landing

Kolkata: 35 passengers on board an Air-India flight from Yangon to Kolkata Tuesday had a miraculous escape when the plane was hit by a bird and its engine damaged while landing here this afternoon, airport sources said. The plane, however, landed safely and one engine of the aircraft was found to have suffered minor damage, the sources said.
