Lufthansa joins hands with EIH for Miles & More

Mumbai: Lufthansa Airlines has tied-up with East India Hotels (EIH) for the frequent flier programme, Miles & More, under which members would be entitled to earn a minimum 500 award miles per stay at any of the hotels and resorts in India, Egypt, Indonesia and Mauritius.
EIH, which owns Oberoi Hotels and Resorts and Trident Group of Hotels is the latest partner to join Miles and More, a Lufthansa Press release said here today.
Miles & More is a frequent flier program of over a dozen airlines across Europe such as Lufthansa, Swiss International, Austrian, LOT Polish, Croatia Airlines, Air Dolomiti, Adria Airways and Brusse Airlines with around 19 million members, including 5.8 lakh in India and over 250 partners worldwide.
The tie-up with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts comes into effect from this month and as an inaugural special, the programme's close to 20 million members can stock up their mileage account up to 30 November, it said.
The Trident Group of Hotels will join the programme from next month, it said.
