AAI invites bids for baggage trolleys ad rights at Chandigarh Airport

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited bids under the ‘two-packet system’ offering advertisement rights on 350 passenger baggage trolleys along with their retrieval, operation and maintenance at the civil air terminal of the Chandigarh Airport. The contract shall be awarded for three years and shall attract a minimum reserved license fee of Rs 175,650 per month. The EMD required is Rs 166,500.
As per the eligibility criteria specified, interested parties should have a minimum experience of two years in advertisement display business or trolley management services at transportation centres like airports, seaports, railways, bus terminals, etc. Hoteliers, airlines, including foreign airlines, business and industrial houses, courier agencies, shopping malls with their establishments being not less than two years shall also be eligible for the contract.
Interested parties should quote the license fee offered for the first year only. From second year onwards, the license fee shall be escalated by 10 per cent over the previous year’s fee.
