Air India flight restored

Thiruvananthapuram: Bowing to stiff opposition from various quarters, Air India has restored the Thiruvananthapuram Bangalore Chennai Bangalore daily afternoon service that was recently cancelled.
According to a statement from Air India, IC 911 has been reinstated from November 11 to 22. The flight would depart from here at 2.35 p.m.
There were allegations that the flight was cancelled to favour a private airline which is planning to commence operation on the sector.
In view of the Aarat festival of the Padmanabha Swami Temple, the following flights from Thiruvananthapuram on November 13 have been rescheduled.
