Air India registers loss at Rs 55.52bn for FY10

The report stated that the carrier had lost Rs. 55.48bn in FY09, more than double the Rs. 22.26bn loss in FY08, as it failed to control costs and initiate prudent fiscal measures.
National Aviation Company of India , or Nacil, the holding company formed after the merger of Air India and Indian Airlines , has suffered a loss of Rs. 55.52bn in fiscal 2010, according to a report.
