Evening flights see light of day at Chandigarh

Chandigarh: Opening evening skies to air traffic, the local airport has launched a flight to Delhi that would take off from Chandigarh at 7.20pm. Till now, the last plane to leave city airport was at 5.30pm, to Delhi.
Kingfisher Airlines has started its new flight for Delhi, which would begin the journey from Chandigarh airport at 7.20 pm and arrive at Delhi airport at 8.20pm.
With this, air passengers, especially businessmen and executives who used to catch the evening Shatabdi after attending meetings in Chandigarh, would get a mode of travel. The first Delhi-Chandigarh flight arrives here at 9.05am.
