Fake Passport - Passenger Held

Mangalore: Hanif (28), son of Mohammed Kunhi from Kumble Koyippady in Kasargod district, who arrived at the local airport through the Air India Express flight that landed at around 6.30 am on Tuesday November 2, was handed over by the immigration officials at the airport to Bajpe police station. He is charged with using a fake passport for his travel.
The immigration officials said that both the address given in the passport as well as the passport found in the possession of Kunhi were found to be fake. He had left for Dubai from Mumbai airport in January this year by using the same passport.
