Fight that you will never miss!

Flight delays are not new. But what if a flight is always behind schedule? Air India recently started a Delhi-Ahmedabad-Delhi flight, but to date, it has never arrived or departed from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on time.
Every day since October 31, when the air service was started, the flight’s expected arrival time has been 8.20 pm and take-off time 9 pm. However, Air India has never managed to operate it on schedule. In fact, thrice — on November 1, 2 and 3 — it reached Ahmedabad from the national capital after 2 am, a delay of more than five hours.
Even on Thursday, its arrival was delayed by more than two hours.
What has apparently upset passengers and their relatives more than the annoying wait is the inability of Air India’s ground staff to provide them a plausible explanation for the delay.
A source at the airport said that people who wanted to come to Ahmedabad from Delhi were also facing a harrowing time.
When Mirror contacted Sobha Nimbalkar, the deputy manager (corporate communications) of National Aviation Company of India Limited (NACIL), an entity formed by the merger of Air India and Indian, in Mumbai, she said: “There have been some delays as we are yet to settle in completely at Terminal 3, or T3, (at the Delhi airport). However, we are trying to accommodate all passengers.”
