‘Internet failure’ delays flight!

Dimapu: It has been informed that the Indian Airlines IC7702 bound for Kolkata, which was scheduled at 1:55 was late for an hour and the reason given to the passengers was ‘Internet failure’.
“…it was not unusual to be delayed for 1 hour as announced...however the cancellation of the flight 1 hour before rescheduled departure was the last straw especially with many passengers who had connecting flight to catch both domestic and international and meetings to attend. The only lame excuse was Internet failure, what a sorry state for the poor hapless Dimapur airport staffs. While the passengers were stranded with no basic amenities and even transport for local conveyance,” lamented a disappointed passenger. However, the source said that it has been learned that the airport authority assured to arrange a flight to accommodate all stranded passengers the next day.
