Thiruvananthapuram terminal commissioning on Dec 12 not likely

Thiruvananthapuram: Chances are bleak for the commissioning of the new terminal of the Thiruvananthapuram Airport on December 12.
Airports Authority of India sources said that no decision was taken to commission the new terminal on December 12. All airlines and other agencies concerned were only asked to be prepared for a commissioning. Sources also said that a final decision on when to commission the airport would be taken within a couple of days.
Certain high-level discussions are going on in this regard in New Delhi.Amidst confusion over the commissioning of the new terminal, the local people have voiced their protest against shifting domestic services to the new terminal.
