Aero India 2011 to be biggest ever Aero India show

Some 700 plus exhibitors have registered to participate in the biennial Aero India 2011 show to be held in Bangalore next month, making it the biggest edition of the event held once in two years.
“We are left with only a few stall”, said Ms. Sujatha Sudarshan, Director, Trade Fairs of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) which is managing the event on behalf of the Defence Exhibitons Organization. Two extra hall, in addition to the five permanent stalls will be put up to accommodate the growing list of exhibitors. She said the event will have some novel features this year such as business-to-business meetings, product launches and focused presentations by the exhibitors to help help them better access their customers. Given India’s huge defence procurement budget, all the major global aviation giants have signed up to participte in Aero India.
