Bangalore: Air India on Friday re-introduced the afternoon flight between Bangalore and Delhi in its summer schedule, coming into effect from Sunday, to meet the passenger rush.
Air India, in an official release said, the flight AI 501 will leave Bangalore at 2 pm on all the days of the week, except Tuesdays, to reach Delhi at 4.45 pm.
On Tuesdays, the flight will leave Bangalore at 3 pm to reach Delhi at 5.35 pm. The incoming flight from Delhi IC 502 will leave Delhi on all the days at 1.10 pm to reach Bangalore at 3.40 pm.
Operated by Airbus A 320 aircraft, the reintroduced flights will offer both executive and economy class of travel and provide an additional weekly capacity of 980 seats in each direction, Air India said.
