Fake pilot scam: SpiceJet washes its hands off

A day after TIMES NOW expose on dubious record of 'fake' pilot Garima Passi, SpiceJet has washed its hands off the issue. Speaking to TIMES NOW, SpiceJet CEO says he's concerned about working in an environment where nothing can be taken at face value, but also refrains from speaking on action against Garima Passi.
24-yr-old Garima was allowed to fly SpiceJet despite an objection from a training school. Sabeena Training Centre, the American training school, recommended cancelling Passi's training as she had a 'fear of aircraft'.
TIMES NOW accessed the training school's report. Eliza Wade, ACI, Sabeena Training Centre, said Passi made a hard landing and caused damage and that the pilot lacks confidence as she has a fear of aircraft.
