Indore: Low-cost carrier IndiGo Airlines will add 14 more planes to its fleet and recruit 1,500 people under its expansion plan for the next financial year.
"In the next financial year, we are going to add 14 planes to our fleet, taking their number to 53," IndiGo Chief Commercial Officer Sanjay Kumar told PTI today. The private airline plans to add a workforce of 1,500 employees in 2011-12, he said.
Kumar said by adding new flights IndiGo was planning to connect south-east Asia and West Asia.
