Jet to operate 2 addl flights for Indo-Pak match

Mumbai: et Airways today said it will operate two additional flights from Mumbai and Delhi to Chandigarh to help meet the rush for the World Cup semi-final between India and Pakistan at Mohali tomorrow. From Mumbai, the Jet flight will depart at 0350 hrs and arrive at Chandigarh at 0600 hrs, while a JetLite flight will leave Delhi at 0630 hrs and reach Chandigarh at 0730 hrs. On Thursday (March 31), a Jet flight will depart Chandigarh at 0730 hrs for Mumbai arriving at 0940 hrs, while the Delhi-bound service will depart Chandigarh at 0630 hrs to arrive in Delhi at 0715 hrs. The two special flights will be in addition to the three regular daily Jet Airways, JetLite and Jet Konnect flights to Chandigarh from Mumbai and New Delhi, the airline said in a release here today. Meanwhile, the airline also said JetPrivilege, which is the largest frequent flyer programme in the country, has entered into three new partnerships with Alitalia in the airline sphere, JetBoutique in the lifestyle segment and Travelling Connect in the telecom category.
