Hyderabad: Air India cancelled 13 flights from Hyderabad of the 21 scheduled flights on Friday with the pilot strike continuing for the third consecutive day. With more executive pilots joining the stir, spearheaded by 600 Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA) officers, 126 flights were cancelled across the country.
"Of the 8 flights that were operated from the city, two were international, bound for Chicago and Jeddah," said the airline spokesperson. Officials maintained that passengers were being accommodated in other flights. " Boeing 777, that goes to Chicago from Hyderabad will also carry passengers for Delhi," the spokesperson added.
