The rear tyre of a Hyderabad-Chennai SpiceJet aircraft burst while landing in Chennai airport on Tuesday morning. All 90 passengers on board and the crew were safe. The B737-800 aircraft vacated the runway after landing at 10.30am but was stuck in the taxiway for nearly two hours as the tyres were flat. An Airports Authority of India (AAI) official said step ladders were taken to the taxiway to help passengers disembark.
