Four flights cancelled in Hyderabad as AI Pilots go on strike

Hyderabad: The lightning strike by Air India pilots on Wednesday morning threw the travel plans of several passengers flying out of Hyderabad out of gear.
Though dislocation of flights is not as much in Hyderabad as it is in other metros, passengers, nonetheless had to face inconvenience in the form of waiting for alternative flights or sitting through till Air India ‘combined’ their flights with other flights of its own.
According to Air India sources in Hyderabad, of the 19 flights scheduled to fly out of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, four flights had to be cancelled.
They were: Hyderabad- Pune (one flight), Hyderabad- Bangalore (two flights) and Hyderabad-Delhi (one flight).
