Man promising pilot's jobs for money arrested

New Delhi: A sacked airline employee has been arrested for duping a man by promising him a pilot's job in a leading private carrier, police said Tuesday.
'Sagar Bhasin, 32, was held from Panchsheel Enclave in south Delhi Monday,' said Deputy Commissioner of Police H.G.S. Dhaliwal.
Bhasin was arrested on a complaint filed by Navneet Bhutani, a resident of Gurggaon's DLF City Phase II. Bhutani told police that he met Bhasin a month ago at a chemist's shop in front of AIIMS and the
Bhutani mentioned his cousin Ashish, who had got a commercial pilot licence from the US and underwent other courses.
'Bhutani met Bhasin at PVR Saket around 20 days ago and paid Rs.2.30 lakh on the assurance of a pilot's job. Bhasin Monday demanded a further Rs.2 lakh,' said Dhaliwal.
During interrogation, Bhasin said he had got a job in Air Sahara Air (now taken over by Jet Airways and renamed JetLite) as a cabin crew member 10 years ago and worked there for six years but he lost his job due to becoming overweight, said Dhaliwal.
