Deer killed on runway, again

Nagpur: Just a few months after the officials declared they had rid the city airport of all animals, once again an incident of a barking deer straying onto the airport runway was reported on Tuesday.
A major mishap was averted after the deer was hit by a JetLite Nagpur-Mumbai flight (S2-383) with almost 80 passengers onboard at about 8.40 pm on Tuesday.
Sources at airport informed that deer was hit as the flight took off. Pilots reported seeing the animal on runway to air traffic control ( ATC) immediately after they were airborne.
