Jet, AI flights see the worst delays in April

Mumbai: Jet Airways had the highest number of flights that arrived late on a regular basis (delayed more than 20% of the time) at Mumbai airport and Air India had the most number of late departures in April. This data is part of a report that the Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) compiled and submitted to the civil aviation ministry last week.
This is the first time that the MIAL has compiled data regarding errant flights. “The idea is to caution people about flights to be avoided. Airlines will fall in line if passengers avoid them,” said Alok Sinha, joint secretary, civil aviation ministry.
