Ahmedabad: Ten kg of farsan was distributed among the harried passengers of Mumbai-bound Go Air flight that was delayed for more than four hours. What's new in it you would say?
Well the farsan was not distributed by caring airline employees but a passenger Prakash Gurnani, a transporter from Mumbai, who distributed his 10kg farsan meant for his family back home among the hungry passengers.
The flight was to take off at 6.30 pm but was still on the runway when reports last came in. The flight couldn't take off due to the bad weather and the passengers were left to fend for themselves.
The first spell of rains brought the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport to a grinding halt as six domestic flights were delayed. Hundreds of passengers were stranded at the airport while several others chose to cancel their flights.
