Pilot falls to death from Rohini highrise

New Delhi: A 25-year-old pilot from Mumbai died after he fell from the seventh floor of a building in Rohini on Saturday night, police said.
Jonathan Joseph Fernandes, a resident of Multan Nagar in West Delhi, had gone to Jaya Apartments in Rohini’s Sector-9 Rohini to celebrate a friend’s birthday.
Fernandes had completed his flying course from the US and was preparing for the examinations conducted by aviation regulator DGCA, for getting a licence in India.
Police said they received a call at 12.35 am from Saroj Hospital, where Fernandes was taken after the incident.
