AI announces low fares for Kanpur-New Delhi flight

Kanpur: By rolling out the lowest fares for air travel from Kanpur to New Delhi and vice-versa, the Air India is trying to woo the maximum number of passengers for its 70-seater Delhi-Kanpur-Kolkata flight which was launched on May 24.
Now a passenger can fly from Kanpur to New Delhi by paying Rs 1,585 only which is even less than the fare of travelling in the executive class in VIP trains like Shatabdi. The Air India officials have also introduced two more fare packages amounting to Rs 2,085 and 2,585 in the economy class. These new rates will be effective from July 4.
The Delhi-Kanpur-Kolkata flight has been running full ever since its launch on May 24. Now the low fares introduced will further increase the rush of the passengers.
Prashant Shukla, public relations officer, Air India, at Chakeri airport said that the low fare tickets would be subject to availability of seats.
